Are you wondering when are we going to die?

Of course only God knows.

The fact is, all of us will die one day, just like the millions who have already died.

Perhaps a more intriguing question would be………

How Will I Die? Disease? Accident?

On 911, specifically September 11, 2001, almost 3,000 Americans died that morning.911 attacts NYC

I am sure not one of them had any idea what was going to happen that day when they left their houses.

There are reports of many who were delayed in getting to their jobs that day at the World Trade Center.

Some were annoyed at the delays they had, but when they realized what they had escaped from I am sure they were glad of their delay!

Here are some amazing stories from The Atlantic.com.

“The night before, the New York Giants game in Denver had gone late into the night, which meant that a whole host of New Yorkers showed up slightly late to work that morning, missing the final elevator up to the top of the North or South Tower; others survived because Roger Clemens was supposed to have been pitching for his 20th win at home with the Yankees on September 10.

The game was rained out, but not before people such as Roy Bell, who worked on the 102nd floor of the North Tower, had rescheduled their 8 a.m. client meetings for 8:45 instead. Michael Lomonaco, the chef at Windows on the World, would have normally been at work by 8:30, but he stopped to get new eyeglasses in the shopping concourse under the World Trade Center; he survived, while 72 of his co-workers were killed.”

“Fate cursed as well as saved on 9/11. Jeremy Glick‚Äôs flight on September 10 from the Newark airport was delayed, so he switched onto United Airlines Flight 93 the following day; the flight attendant Betty Ong ended up working American Airlines Flight 11 because she wanted to go meet her sister to plan a vacation to Hawaii.”

The FACT is; ALL of us ARE going to Die

We know this, but do not like to think about it.

The important thing is to be ready.

How do I prepare to die?

By preparing to live.

We must start a relationship with Jesus now.

Why now?

Mainly because we do not know WHEN we will die, it could be this evening!

  1. First of all thank you so much for sharing such a wonderful article with us . Birth and death are in the hands of God and I think no one can predict in advance when we will die. Humans are just mortal beings .If we had known in advance where and how we would die, it would have been possible to prepare in advance .I saw a friend of my neighbor accidentally go to the fence with his family and everyone died except my friend. Your article is really informative and instructive and you have put up everything very nicely .You certainly deserve praise for that .

Lastly, I hope that by reading your article, everyone will feel different and will definitely share with you their new experience .God has the power to change destiny and birth is in the hands of God .

  2. For many years I have believed in a divine source, or creator or God. I went to a church school, and the result, unfortunately, was a total mistrust of the organized churches.

Even the modern day “Happy Clappy” type church sends bad shivers up my spine.

Yet I do not doubt that God does exist, that he has a profound and direct influence on our lives. and we must communicate with him in order to understand and progress in our lives.

Your topics are thought provoking, and well argued. I look forward to learning more from you in the future.

    Kind regards      Tim

  3. Absolutely Jesus is still the answer.

When my younger brother died last month at the age of just 46, I felt really sad but I was strenghtened and fit because he did not pass on without knowing Jesus Christ.

Not knowing Christ makes death to be fearful but once someone knows Christ, fear of any sort including death are defeated.

I have no reason to prepare to die because the life that I live is in Christ Jesus. Thanks for this life giving article.
