pastor“And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left.” Isa 30 21

The Truth about Teachers, is that most of them are false. They are deceivers.

As we read in the verse above, there is a Guide who will NEVER lead us astray! I Thank GOD for the Holy Spirit!

Jesus warned us in Matthew 24 about false teachers.

4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

25 Behold, I have told you before.

26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

Jesus warned us that MANY False Prophets will rise and SHALL DECEIVE MANY!

IT IS ALWAYS A MAN WHO THE DEVIL USES AS A DECEIVER, keep that in mind.

So, Just Who is The Best Teacher Then?

The Holy Spirit is the Best Teacher.

25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14

Sadly, man is prone to lean on other men, and instead of putting our trust in God, we find ourselves putting our trust in what some man is telling us, even when it goes against our good common sense.

God Will Try Us

11Now there dwelt an old prophet in Beth–el; and his sons came and told him all the works that the man of God had done that day in Beth–el: the words which he had spoken unto the king, them they told also to there father.

12And there father said unto them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, which came from Judah.

13And he said unto his sons, Saddle me the ass. So they saddled him the ass: and he rode thereon,

14And went after the man of God, and found him sitting under an oak: and he said unto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Judah? And he said, I am.

15Then he said unto him, Come home with me and eat bread.

16And he said, I may not return with thee, nor go in with thee: neither will I eat bread nor drink water with thee in this place:

17For it was said to me by the word of the Lord, Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest.

18He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord, saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him.

19So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

God had already given this prophet clear instructions to follow. But then comes along this false prophet and tells his to do the EXACT OPPOSITE of what the Lord told him to do.

It says this old prophet LIED TO HIM.

Sadly, he listened to the old prophet and disobeyed God, and as you read on in the story, as soon as this prophet left eating at this mans house, a lion slew him.

Worship God, and Not Man

It is OK to go to a good Bible believing church and listen to a Holy Ghost anointed message from a man, just do not worship the man, ever. Because if HE falls, you will fall too.bible

The Spirit of God is always faithful to His children and will never allow them to become deceived, as long as they remain honest with God.

Let’s take Jesus advice that He gave Peter.

21Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. John 21

Jesus advises us to follow Him. The Holy Ghost will also always encourage us to follow Jesus.

Follow the lead of the Spirit and you will never go wrong.
